My story, Chinese FoodMay 29, 2006 3:55 am

What a Monday morning! A bit lazy to start the job chores. Today’s breakfast menu at the hotel gave another surprise, a glass of yoghurt. Unfortunately Andam missed it. She preferred to stay at the room tried to recover from yesterday’s tiredness. Talk about the meals, remembering me of what happened during the last two days before. Honestly, one reason of why I really wanna go to Beijing is just for “Kentucky Fried Chicken”.

I have been sick enough of all the Chinese meals so far. All the things about “Fried chicken” always pop ups in my head lately and almost blow my head apart. Just can’t wait any longer. I am a chicken freak. Alas, what I have afterwards is just disappointing me. As a real kentucky fried chicken freak, the taste is just too flat for my tongue. Of all my experiences travel around kentucky’s outlets in the world. I definitely know its genuine taste.

Places around Beijing, My story 3:53 am

A little bit dizzy this morning, woke up at 7.10 a.m, missed the breakfast and last night’s American Idol show. Just to watch my idol Mr. Yamin on his last performance in AI 5 was so hard to be done. What a great loss for me.

Edwin keep urging us to write something for our blog….and there is something to tell but I’m really not in the mood. If my story this time was not enjoyable to read and the english grammar were messed up, please forgive me….hehehe. At least I’ve tried my best to write about our trip to Beijing last weekend.

Finally we figured out which the best way to get to Beijing by bus, after a week asking people here and there on how to get to Beijing by bus. There are 3 route of bus trip from Yanjiao to Beijing actually but we didn’t know which one is the best route we should take. The best route here meant the shortest, the most convenient, with the station close to our hotel and a very slim chance to get lost. We left Yanjiao at 2.00 pm after attending the lunch invitation from the husband and the son of my supervisor back in Jakarta office. The lunch was great. The restaurant served fish submerged in vegetable oil and mixed up with a lot of spices. The taste was very strong and it would last on your tongue for a quite long. The best chinese dish by far, my favourite.
