here, in Yanjiao we have a million of TV channels…but only one -yes, it’s only one- channel using english as their language…this ‘excellent TV channel’ is CCTV 9, an international broadband channel in the world…at least that’s what they called themself…

some other channels also have one english segment for the news…but maybe just half an hour english news…

and there are two or more for sport channels…well, we don’t need any language to watch any sport games, right…???

we also have several movie channels…one of these channel always put the english subtittle at the bottom of the TV screen…so we still can enjoy their movies…it’s 80s/90s chinese movies…

one other channel is the ‘V’ music channel…an interesting one, because we can see and hear the chinese pop music…some musics are good in our ears and we really want to have that music on our mp3 list, but who sing it and what is the song called…? no one knows…pfuuhhh…

this music channel also has one segment for ‘international top 40’s music…yup, they understand our need… : )

but you know what…it’s also 80s/90s top 40’s music…wow,  how amazing isn’t it…??? the schedule for this segment is every morning at 8.00am just before we’re leaving for the office and they re-run the same program at 1.30am midnight…

this morning they played ‘Rush rush’ by Paula Abdul and ‘It must have been love’ by Roxette…I only enjoyed these two songs because we have to go to the office at 8.15am…and at the time we stay in the office, we count on the music from ‘messenger’, just like right now… : )

8 hours non stop free music… : P
